TD1100
The TD1100 series of linear imaging contact readers represent the Datalogic solution for customers who require a cost-effective solution for close contact bar code reading without sacrificing quality and performance. Designed for low throughput applications within multiple markets, the TD1100 readers provide the guarantee of contact reading with an excellent reading performance on virtually all linear bar codes, including damaged or poorly printed codes. Small, lightweight and low on energy consumption, the TD1100 readers available with the option of two different sizes of reading windows. The TD1100 65/90 Pro readers provide a complete all-in-one multi-interface solution, including RS-232, USB and Keyboard Wedge and Wand Emulation, while the TD1100 65/90 Lite readers provide USB or RS-232/Keyboard Wedge interfaces. An innovative ‘read-thru’ holder provides the TD1100 readers with hands-free reading capability on documents or small items.
The strategic sacrifices of the TD1100 Datalogic barcode scanner
If you think lines like Quickscan are cheap then you can take a look at Datalogic's input product. Because it still does well the normal functions of a barcode reader. Although some advantages and configurations are sacrificed, you can still love it because of the uses that this device brings.
The advantages of TD1100
- Barcode readers in this TD series have to remove a few things to focus on the price of the product. The structure of the machine will bring you the following benefits:
- The ability to read 1D barcodes smoothly and easily, including special types of barcodes such as postal codes, overlapping codes or codes provided by GS1.
- CCD scanning technology provides a short-range and not as long as current 1D scanners using laser technology. However, it gives extremely fast reading speed and the results are almost extremely accurate.
- The device has significant tolerance to 50 degrees of ambient temperature, 95 percent humidity, and a drop of 30 times from a height of 1.5 meters. Resistance to ESD is also 16kV very standard. What is here is the sacrifice of light tolerance, the machine can only withstand up to 20,000 lux. This is also evident in CCDs.
- The machine has the advantage of being extremely light, only about 130 grams and you feel comfortable and easy to handle.
- The readability of bar codes with a minimum 25% contrast standard is the same as for Quickscans.
- It still integrates well with peripherals such as POS machines, receipt printers, and warehouse checkers. You can completely set up a cash register system with this type of scanner.
Based on supporting software, the machine is still an object barcode scanner for supermarkets or retail stores. If you need a cheaper product than Quickscans, then the TD1100 is the one to look at.
