Champtek - General Handheld Vega 1030
Laser has never been better - Champtek Vega 1030
VEGA is absolutely a high-performance laser scanner, which provides the customer with the most cost-effective solution. The VEGA is available in interface types, RS232, Keyboard wedge, USB interfaces, so there is always a solution to connect the VEGA to your POS system.
The new VEGA scanner has a most modern design with a decorative cover display on the top of the scanner that will enhance the looks of the checkout counter in the retail market. This magnificent design allowed end-users to display their product information or any relevant commercial message in the cover display. This advanced mechanical design truly creates a win-win solution for both POS retail systems and consumers.
Vega 1030's undeniable plus
With laser barcode reading technology, you get a barcode scanner with lots of pluses. Of course, there are still significant limitations with these technologies. And we'll cover it all below.
- Laser technology gives the Champtek Vega 1030 barcode scanner a very fast scanning speed. Partly, the scanning range of the machine is also quite close compared to conventional laser machines. The scanning speed of the machine is about 50 times/second. Laser technology also helps to reduce the cost of the machine.
- The machine gives you a maximum number of scans of about 30,000 continuously without stopping. The 1400-capacity battery ensures a 12-hour day of your work quite easily.
- The machine can withstand good working environment temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius. The drop force from a maximum height of 1.2 meters is quite common in these laser machines.
- The device also has a wireless version that supports Bluetooth 2.1 and connects to about 3-4 receivers.
- Vega 1030 also has docking support for more hands-free use
- However, there are also some points you should consider when using the machine as follows:
- The ability to withstand is quite poor with ambient light, only about 5,000 is maximum (long lamp light is often used)
- The scan range is poor, so if you have a tall cabinet or high shelf, you should have a ladder or stand high enough for the machine to have enough scanning range.
- This barcode reader is not capable of reading low contrast codes. The minimum contrast that the machine can scan barcodes is 30%
